| Please join the Hightstown-East Windsor Historical Society as a volunteer. The Society is in the process of displaying its many historical treasures throughout the museum and needs help from the community for this enormous task. Special displays featuring different types of objects are developed several times each year, requiring the help of volunteers. Volunteers are needed to attend monthly meetings and help make important decisions. Meetings are currently held on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Docents are another type of volunteer. Our docents are friendly people who like to share what they know about the history of our area with others. Training and a book compiled by the Women's Friday Club make sure you are able to assist the visitors to the Ely House.
